Sophia, Founder

Sophia commenced her career in Research at a top tier global headhunting firm. She gained excellent skills in understanding clients needs through in-depth research of their organisation. She has developed deep insight in a number global technology sectors: oil and gas; mining; manufacturing; aviation and consumer goods. This cross sector experience has allowed Sophia to consistently hire top talent, that have both the technical skill and soft skills required for leadership roles. 

After ten years at the firm and following completion of her executive MBA from Imperial College London, Sophia has focused on the Life Science Industry. She was drawn to this industry due to the profound impact this sector has had on improving patient lives and created her own recruiting firm Omnia Search & Selection, exclusively focusing on this sector. 

Working closely with a VC backed Life Science fund, Sophia brought these skills to a orphan drug start-up company, placing the majority of the executive team, allowing the company to successfully move from research and development to now commercialising around the world.

Sophia prides herself on having an international, multicultural mindset having lived in the Far East, and after graduation working in France and the UK. Sophia has a keen interest in foreign travel and is passionate about understanding and immersing herself in different cultures. This clearly reflects as much in her personal dealings as in her professional work.
